I’ve spent so much of my life looking for answers. Looking for certainty.

There was a time when I believed that if I could just find the right framework, the right knowledge, the right understanding—then I’d finally feel secure. Then I’d know, without a doubt, that I was on the right path.

But life doesn’t work that way. The search for certainty is an illusion.

If anything, my own Human Design chart has been one long invitation to get comfortable with uncertainty. Gate 64 is defined by Pluto in both my Personality and Design, and Gate 63 is my Design Chiron. I was literally born to question, to wrestle with doubt, and to sit with the confusion of it all.

This theme has played out in every area of my life, but especially in relationships. My Design Sun in Gate 59.2amplifies my inner questioning:

🔹 Am I showing up the right way?

🔹 Am I saying the right thing?

🔹 Am I too much? Not enough?

With an undefined Head Center, a completely Open Ajna, and a defined Emotional Solar Plexus, I’ve spent most of my life chasing certainty—or at least clarity. But certainty seldom exists, and clarity isn’t something to be found—it arrives when it’s ready.

And this week’s transit is all about letting go of that mental pressure.

 

Sun in Gate 63 — The Drive to Question Everything

Doubt has been one of my greatest teachers.

Gate 63 is my Design Chiron—the core wound I was born to heal and, in turn, help others navigate. If you’ve ever felt the relentless need to seek certainty, the constant questioning of yourself, or the pressure to prove that you’re making the right decisions—you might resonate with this energy, too.

The paradox of my life is that I’ve always been a deeply confident person, yet filled with doubt at the same time.

I’ve always had an inner knowing—a deep sense of what I wanted to do, who I was meant to be, and what direction I was heading. But the lack of external certainty would send me spiraling into self-doubt. I second-guessed my choices, looking outside myself for confirmation that I was making the “right” moves. I became hyper-aware of how others perceived me, seeking validation to counterbalance the uncertainty I felt inside.

For so long, I thought something was wrong with me. I assumed clarity was something other people had—and I just… didn’t.

But here’s what I’ve come to understand:

✨ Gate 63 isn’t here to give certainty—it’s here to teach me to trust myself without it.

The energy of this gate isn’t about eliminating doubt. Doubt isn’t a weakness—it’s a tool.

Gate 63 is the gate of Curiosity (formerly called Doubt in Traditional Human Design). It is an investigative, truth-seeking, pattern-refining energy. At its highest expression, it challenges old systems, refines wisdom, and leads to deep understanding. But when misaligned, it can trap us in analysis paralysis—constantly seeking proof before taking action.

🔹 Constructive inquiry vs. obsessive questioning – Are you asking questions that lead to growth, or are you stuck in a cycle of needing external validation?

🔹 Trusting the process – Are you open to the idea that truth emerges in its own time, or are you forcing clarity before it’s ready?

🔹 Being comfortable with uncertainty – Can you accept that not all questions have immediate answers?

Healing My Gate 63 Wound: The Path to Radical Self-Trust

The more I tried to outthink my doubt, the worse it got. It was only when I stopped fighting it—when I accepted that I would never have absolute certainty—that everything shifted.

✨ Doubt isn’t the enemy.

The problem isn’t questioning. The problem is waiting for certainty before you trust yourself.

I’ve learned that clarity comes when it’s ready—not on demand. And in the meantime? I’ve built a life, a career, and a mission around something even deeper than clarity: Radical Self-Trust.

Because the truth is—there are no guarantees. We never really know for sure.

But we can trust.

🌿 We can trust that we will figure it out as we go.

🌿 We can trust that our authority will guide us when the time is right.

🌿 We can trust that we don’t need external validation to confirm what we already feel inside.

For me? This healing is ongoing. But it’s also the very foundation of what I teach.

My own journey through Gate 63 is why I’m so passionate about helping others trust themselves—to stop waiting for permission, certainty, or proof, and instead lean into the wisdom that already exists within them.

So as the Sun moves through Gate 63 this week, I invite you to reflect:

🔹 Where is doubt actually serving you—and where is it keeping you stuck?

🔹 Are you waiting for external validation before you trust yourself?

🔹 What would it feel like to make decisions based on Radical Self-Trust—even without absolute clarity?

✨ Because clarity always comes. But it comes in its own time.

 

Earth in Gate 64: Sitting With Uncertainty

Pluto is the planet of transformation, and for me, that transformation comes through Gate 64—not just once, but twice. Pluto defines this gate in both my Personality and Design, making it a central theme in my life.

Gate 64, traditionally called Confusion (Quantum: Divine Transference), carries the energy of sorting through the past to prepare for the future. It exists in that liminal space between what was and what will be—the moment before clarity arrives.

This is the only defined gate in my Head Center, making it the dominant flavor of my thinking. And with a completely open Ajna, my mind doesn’t hold onto fixed ways of processing information. My thoughts flow, shift, and expand in ways that defy structure—always searching, always questioning, always allowing new possibilities to emerge.

Years ago, Dr. Karen Curry Parker told me I was like a cosmic ladle, serving up questions that spark transformation in others.

✨ “Here’s your question.”

✨ “Here’s yours.”

✨ “Here’s another one.”

And she was right. But for much of my life, those questions felt like pressure—as if every question demanded an immediate answer.

I now understand that’s not how this energy works.

Gate 64 isn’t about forcing clarity—it’s about allowing the process.

The questions don’t need answers right away.

The key is to sit with them, to trust that clarity will come when it’s meant to.

💡 How do we work with this energy?

🔹 Allow the pieces to come together in their own time.

🔹 Trust that you don’t need to understand everything immediately.

🔹 Hold space for your own unfolding without pressure.

When I surrendered to that, everything shifted. Instead of feeling lost in the confusion, I embraced the power of the unknown.

Now, I guide others to do the same—to sit with their questions, trust the timing of their clarity, and lean into the transformation that unfolds.

 

🔥 Venus Retrograde in Gate 21: Revisiting Power, Control & Resources

Venus retrogrades every 18 months, but it only revisits the same space in our charts every 8 years—which means the last time we experienced this specific Venus retrograde cycle was in 2017.

Think back to that time in your life.

What was happening in your relationships, finances, self-worth, and personal power?

What lessons were surfacing around control, trust, and surrender?

And while we can reflect on this personally, it’s impossible to ignore the larger collective energy.

In the U.S., we are literally sitting in the same political landscape we had in 2017, with the same president back in office. But now, in 2025, the stakes feel even higher. Fear, uncertainty, and the conversation around who holds power, who has control, and how resources are distributed are at an all-time high.

Venus stationing retrograde in Gate 21 (Traditional: Control | Quantum: Self-Regulation) is pulling us back into these themes—both personally and collectively.

Gate 21: Power, Autonomy, & Letting Go of Control

Gate 21 is all about autonomy, control, and the balance of power.

At its highest expression, it’s about leading from a place of self-regulation—knowing when to take control and when to surrender.

But at its shadow, it can show up as:

🔻 A tight grip on external control, fearing that letting go means losing power.

🔻 Struggles with authority, either resisting it or trying to enforce it.

🔻 Anxiety around money, resources, and self-sufficiency.

Are you holding on too tightly to control something that actually requires trust?

Why This Matters Now

This energy isn’t here to destabilize us—it’s showing us where we’ve outgrown old stories about power, security, and self-worth.

Both in our personal lives and in the world around us.

With so many external shifts happening, this is a time to reclaim inner alignment. To recognize that true security doesn’t come from control—it comes from self-trust.

 

🌊 The Channel of Transitoriness (35/36): Emotional Cycles & Uncertainty

At the same time that Venus is pulling us back to revisit and refine our relationship with control, we’re still navigating the emotional waves of the Channel of Transitoriness (35/36).

This channel—now defined by Mercury and the North Node in Gate 36 (Crisis) and Jupiter in Gate 35 (Change)—is keeping emotions heightened and fueling a collective sense of restlessness.

Gate 36 (Crisis): Emotional Depth & Discomfort with the Unknown

This energy carries the anticipation of transformation through experience—but also the fear of what’s next.

💥 What this can feel like:

🔹 A heightened emotional state, like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop.

🔹 A sense that change is coming—but not knowing what it is or how to prepare.

🔹 Emotional highs and lows that feel unpredictable.

This is big emotional energy, and with Mercury now joining the mix, our minds are more involved.

This means communication may feel intense, reactive, or deeply introspective.

Gate 35 (Change): The Craving for Newness & Expansion

Gate 35 is the energy of experience and change. It holds the desire to evolve, grow, and try new things. But when combined with Gate 36’s emotional uncertainty, it can also bring impatience—wanting to skip ahead before the lesson is fully integrated.

💭 How this energy might show up:

🔹 Feeling a strong urge to move forward—but without clarity, patience is key.

🔹 Revisiting emotional themes from the past (especially those from 2017).

🔹 Conversations around power, security, and self-trust may feel heightened or urgent.

🚦 Takeaway: These energies are adding layers to this transit as a whole.

Venus is showing us where we need to reclaim inner alignment, while the Channel of Transitoriness is stirring the emotional currents of change.

👉 This is a time to reflect before reacting, to observe before leaping.

 

Tying It All Together: Trusting the Process of Transformation

This week’s transits are a masterclass in navigating uncertainty, questioning the status quo, and trusting that clarity will arrive in its own time.

🌍 The Earth in Gate 64 (Confusion/Divine Transference) reminds us that transformation isn’t about immediate answers—it’s about letting the pieces of our story come together in their own way.

This mental pressure to find certainty is layered with emotional intensity from the Channel of Transitoriness (35/36), which is still active for the collective.

• Mercury joining the North Node in Gate 36 and Jupiter holding Gate 35 means we aren’t just revisiting past experiences—we’re learning how to communicate our emotional growth.
• Venus retrograde in Gate 21 (Control/Self-Regulation) is pulling us into a deeper review of power, authority, and self-leadership, asking us to look back at the lessons of 2017 and see how far we’ve come.

What’s the Big Message Here?

🔮 We don’t have to have it all figured out.

✨ Clarity is a process, not a destination.

🌱 Transformation isn’t about knowing all the answers—it’s about being willing to ask the right questions and trust the unfolding.

Whether the questions emerging for you are about personal identity, relationships, or the larger world, this moment is not about forcing certainty—it’s about learning to hold the questions with trust.
