For about 9 months I had been gestating something. I had been having these Sunday Story Hour conversations in my Intuitive Human Design Facebook Group. Talking to amazing people about their personal human design stories. After the first handful, I decided to put them up on my YouTube Channel. That itself was a whole new education for me.
Somehow people started talking about it as my “podcast” and, well, next thing you know I hired someone to convert 30 episodes into a podcast, and I am now creating a podcast-LIVE for added fun and maybe a bit of added stress as well. After all I am no techie and this project forced me to dive headfirst into a sea of technical skills, navigate through waves of fears, and sail past towering cliffs of imposter syndrome and fear of failure. After all, “Who do I think I am?” “What if no one listens?”
But here’s the thing about embarking on new ventures, especially if you are a 6th line off the roof—it’s not about becoming rich or wildly successful. It’s about the journey, the learning, and, most importantly, the fun.
Yes, fun. In the process of creating “Real Human Design Stories,” not only am I talking to amazing guests, I found joy in the challenge, laughter in the mistakes (no mistakes, just happy accidents, remember?), and a profound sense of fulfillment in simply doing something I love. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard and sometimes frustrating, but you know what? People are listening. Strangers are reaching out to share how the stories have inspired them, reminding me that our voices and stories have the power to touch lives in ways we can’t even imagine.
This whole experience has reinforced the power of storytelling for me. Stories have the ability to connect us, to heal us, and to inspire us to embrace our authentic selves. In sharing the stories of individuals navigating their lives through the lens of Human Design, the podcast is finding its audience in those seeking to understand themselves and their place in the world more deeply.
So, why share this with you? Of course, I would like to invite you to listen, but even more so, I want to remind you that it’s never too late to try something new, to face your fears, and to embark on an adventure that brings you joy. Whether you’re 20, 60, or 90, the right time to begin is now.
If you’re curious to hear more about these Real Human Design Stories and find a bit of inspiration for your own story, I invite you to check out the podcast. Subscribe on your favorite platform and join me in discovering the beauty of embracing new adventures, no matter what phase of life you’re in. Just Begin.
